Grumman Goose & Turbo Goose
The good old Goose; Grumman G21 (or navy type JRF) and the G21G Turbo Goose.
Now v1.0 re-saved for v1141
What at first started as a new livery for my friends in the freezer, XP’s virtual Antarctica, ended in a complete revision of my Goose models... Now also available as v1051 (for possible XP11 use).
What’s different from the previous version(s)?
-The retractable floats are back. The old plugin that stopped working with v9.0 is now replaced by a simple, animated objet.
-Water rudder is gone. Most real Goose’s don’t have one, I believe. Being a twin engined plane you would ‘steer’ in in the water by means of differential throttle/power.
-Minor adjustments for data and settings of the different models/subtypes; though it was more like a major overhaul for the Turbo Goose.
-Panel reworked; comes now in two flavors: The Classic Goose and JRF have an older radio stack and instruments without GPS, but... for the v1051/1141 version you get a button to show/hide the pop-up version of the G430. The Standard Goose, retractable floats and Turbo Goose have a newer radio stack, instruments and the standard G430 installed on the panel.
-Yes, this still is a ‘PlaneMaker only’ model; no full 3D exterior or 3D cockpit... but you can now complement the 2D panel with the simple 360º interior views.
-Apart from specific liveries and the base paint (white and/or bare metal) you can also get some ‘generic liveries’, with these you only need to add your own registration and/or details.
PS the Argentinian Navy livery for use over Antarctica is supplied with the Classic Goose.

Supermarine Walrus
You can’t always fly Spitfires and the likes; in fact you’ll be praying for this after you dropped your Spit in the drink....
An update of Jacques Brault old v864 Supermarine Walrus; with David Plunkett's new 3D parts and liveries. Further modifications to 3D parts and model, update/re-save for v970, v1051 & v1141; plus weapons (Mk8 depth charge and Mk2 marine marker) by Pedro.
3 versions included: Armed - with gunners and weapons. SAR - unarmed but with observers. Both
come with alternative acf files, in case you really can't live with Nigel seating in front of you :). The third version is a closed one (no gunners, observers or weapons) for civilian use and this one comes with a digtal version of you navigator (a G430, xp10-11 only) just in case you get lost over the drink.
Remember this has only a simple 2D panel, you'll need to switch to taht in xp11 (alt-w).
A big thank you goes out to:
Jacques Brault (original v864 model) here Chris Wraight ‘dataroots’ (sounds) David Plunkett ‘smellybeard’ (new v9 3D parts and liveries) here
NEW - Nigel’s got a gun! - ‘armed v2’ update comes now with a live Vickers-K 0.303 machine gun for the front gunner.

Noorduyn Norseman IV - UC-64
Classic bushplane from Canada.
NEW mix-and-match version of Jacques Brault’s Noorduyn Norseman model and my own old Norseman.
- Jacques’ model for XP v864, including sounds by Dataroots; via Aerostarsim’s XP1105 re-save up to v1141.
-My own Noorduyn Norseman model; started already in XP v566 and kept alive up to v1141.
Beware, this is an ‘old school’ model with 2D panel, mostly PlaneMaker-built; with only a few 3D objects for cosmetics... and it is for XP11.
Yes, of course it does fly!
