ATL-98 Carvair v1051

A conversion of the DC-4 / C-54 built by Aviation Traders in response to a requirement from Channel Air Bridge for an aircraft capable of transporting passengers and their cars between the UK and continental Europe.

First conversion dates back to 1961 and was able to carry 5 medium cars and 22 passengers.

NEW v2 model for v970 & v1051 has the ‘standard’ PM fuselage replaced by a simple 3D object to eliminate the the strange quirks/distortions of the PM mesh.

Douglas DC-4 / C-54 Skymaster v1141 v1051 & v970

The DC-4 or C-54 "Skymaster", long range (transatlantic) cargo transport and airliner of the 40's & 50's.

First version of my model dates back to v566 model and his been re-tuned, adapted and re-saved along the way up to v1141.

Yes, this still is a mostly PlaneMaker model (only few, simple 3D objects) and comes only with a (photo based) 2D panel.

Take your pick; choose between the ‘classic’ version (vintage panel) or the ‘Skymaster’ (slightly newer panel). Choose also between ‘matt’ (as in ‘no gloss’, good for matt military paint) or the standard version which kind of semi-gloss.

NEW v2.1 In this update: Fuselage 3D object with transparencies, 2k textures and further clean up (the old liveries have been re-resaved for this format).

C-124A Globemaster II v1141 & v1051

Back from an x-plane past: ‘Old Shakey’, the Douglas C-124A Globemaster II transport plane.

A v970 & v1051 revision of the old original from v566 (by me) and the v820 conversion (David Austin a.k.a USAFR).

Still the same, very basic shape but now with a revised flight model and other adjustments/refinements. Try it for a looong freight flight to Antarctica...

The v1141 is quick conversion re-enabling the ADI system with the new boost button.
